In the summer of 2000, I joined Johnson City Urological Clinic.  Since that time our practice has seen enormous changes/improvements with the aid of lasers and laparoscopy to accomplish complex surgeries in an outpatient or overnight stay.

I have a general Urology practice with interests in treating problems using minimally invasive techniques.  The majority of my practice centers on stone disease, voiding dysfunctions, male infertility, Pediatric Urology, and Genito-urinary malignancies.

Welcome to the Johnson City Urological Clinic. I am an American Board of Urology Certified Urologist. My training included an undergraduate degree in Economics at Texas A&M University, Medical School at University of Texas at San Antonio, Urology residency at University of Texas at San Antonio, and a Fellowship in Laparoscopic and Minimally Invasive Urology with Urology San Antonio and Bill Harmon, M.D.

I have worked with Johnson City Urological Clinic since 2003. I continue to have an interest in minimally invasive urologic surgery including laparoscopy, robotic assisted surgery, laser use, cryotherapy and other techniques in the treatment of many urologic diseases, such as cancer, urinating problems and kidney stones. Technology is only used with the highest quality of patient care in mind. I will offer you the same treatment options I would myself or a family member. Locally, I have been involved with the medical community by acting as the Chief of Surgery of the Johnson City Medical Center from 2005 through 2009, and participating in the Harvard sponsored MSHA College of Physicians.

My family includes my wife, Gretchen and two children Bradley and Colleen. Our family feels incredibly fortunate to be a part of East Tennessee. Wonderful people and activities are everywhere. We spend the summers on the local lakes, wakeboarding and wakesurfing. We also fill our time with soccer, snow skiing, family and travel. Personally, I love to fly-fish anywhere, anytime…that I can.
